I was hoping the second book would be better than the first, but it was worse. The story was even more disjointed, there were very obvious Bible references that didn't make sense in the way they were introduced and then never mentioned again. Dinah's character also changed drastically from the first book with no explanation. There is no character development.

I preemptively borrowed the entire series from Kindle Unlimited, but I will be returning all of them after this.

As much as I sometimes wish I could, I have to really hate a book to only give it only one star, so this one gets two.

I had such high hopes for this series. I mean LeGrow was a finalist in Tokyopop's Rising Stars of Manga competition, so I figured it had to be pretty good, right?? Not so much.
The artwork is nice, but the story is just not developed at all. The characters are not particularly interesting and there's not a whole lot of plot.

I will not be continuing on with this manga series.

Jeez, humans. They'd put hot and cold faucets on the Fountain of Youth if they knew how.

The series continues. Dina and Vince have found one of the four tower guardians, but is he going to help them, or make things more difficult. There are new souls and challenges along the way as the series continues. Again, a pretty easy read. Very good art to go along with the story. Nice blend of fantasy with some Gothic horror.
