I enjoy this series - Lottie is a widow struggling to provide security and stability for her family. Great plot, twists and fast paced. Some areas lagged.
Overall, a good read and addition to the series.

Wow this book was absolutely brilliant, Patricia Gibney at her best.

Right from the start it’s full of suspense, action and danger, it was fast paced and this momentum kept going right through to the truly thrilling ending. I had the day off work today and I literally read all day as I couldn’t put it down. The story was captivating and had me hanging on to every word, greedily turning pages wanting more because it was so good.

I love this series and Final Betrayal did not disappoint I loved every minute of reading this book, and was kind of sad that I finished it because I was enjoying it so much I didn’t want it to end.

This book is great and totally deserves 5 stars, I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

not sure how to gather all my thoughts on this book. i originally started it two months ago, read 100 pages over about 4 days, and then gave up.

i started again last night but was so confused by all the characters that i had to go back and reread from the start. i then finished the entire thing in about 6 hours.

i enjoyed it definitely the second time round, but still felt that the beginning was weak and lacked engagement. i really liked lottie’s personal growth as a subplot, but found the “justification” of the murders on megan’s part to be stupidly unrealistic and underwhelming.

while i’m glad i finished it, i most likely wouldn’t have given it a second chance if i wasn’t already so heavily invested in this series

Never disappoints

Really enjoyed the storyline. A lot of characters to follow but you don’t get overwhelmed. I’m really enjoying the new Lottie Parker, she’s not as miserable as before, not that I didn’t enjoy her then but just like her happier. Looking forward to the next one!

The best of the series

I really enjoyed this book, and for me it's one of the best of the series so far. A much more believable storyline, even if we are back with Parker's kids being in danger.
