It had some great moments and some not so great writing. I won't be continuing with the series.

* My star review is based solely on my enjoyment.

3/5 on writing but 5/5 on keeping me reading. So I settled on 4. The story has some really weird/interesting concepts but it's all over the place for a while and plot holes galore. But it's fast and suspenseful snd kept me going and sometimes thats what you need. Will continue the series.

This was a decent plot idea but halfway in there was no point to the story STILL. You have all this stuff happening and you get no inkling as to why any of these things are happening. Put it in the not worth my time shelf. Also highly do NOT recommend the audio book. The narrator they chose pronounces every H and after the fiftieth time it was past comical and just down right irritating to listen to, on top of the fact that he mispronounced Belarus (he made it sound similar to the word Polaris) and who knows what else I may not have caught.

Die Hard 6 would be better!

This book could be a plot for a bad Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. I would watch Die Hard 6 (if they made it) before reading the next book in this series.

It’s just too over the top for my taste.

I read this during the COVID-19 pandemic and it explains soooo much - no really it is a perfect conspiracy theory book for now. The action went back and forth between two sites working on unraveling a mystery - Antarctica and Gibraltar. My main complaint is that I didn't know this wasn't a stand alone book and I will now have to read the other books to finally find out how things turn out.
