The first several chapters felt like the same general stories as the previous book, so I was pleased when the last two chapters felt like something a bit different. I really enjoyed the idea of what happens during "the crack" and that this felt like there was some closure of Mary Poppins comings and goings with the Banks children.

I couldn’t get into it. It’s full of wonderful imaginings but I found myself doing anything but reading this book. I can appreciate the creativity. Just not for me.

I prefer Julie Andrew's Mary Poppins to the literary version, but I still greatly enjoy the book series. The books are magical, whimsical and deserved classics.

It makes me so sad she keeps leaving these poor children but I loved the stories and fables in this book best of all. Plus, my fellow Marylanders, there is a Terrapin featured in the story.

Even with Mary Poppins' tape measure saying that Jane and Michael Banks are getting "worse and worse", Mary Poppins is brilliant in planning magical adventures for the children. So jealous.
