I really enjoyed this book, it was one you go away from smiling. I loved that it had two main romance plots and also a side romance that you see glimpses of its development. I liked all of the main characters and animals 🥰 I liked that the fake-dating/blackmail plot point also went in a different direction that it usually does and was more as beard dating.

Jokes! Swords! TWO gay romances! What more could I ask for!

This book was HILARIOUS. Such a fun story and such sweet romances. Highly recommend.

My one criticism is that I thought the author was a little unfair to and hard on Gwendoline in making her a bit unlikable compared to the other characters.

I really loved this book. It took a while for me to really get absorbed by it, but by the second half I just couldn‘t put it down. The characters are lovable but not without their flaws, and the story between them is bittersweet. I had not expected to root so much for their friendship in the end. Very lovely :)

As an adult reader I thoroughly enjoyed this coming of age story— it does get quite tense at then end and I wanted an epilogue!

Gwen and Art are Not In Love is a sweet, thoughtful hug of a book that delivers the perfect balance of relationship-building with a seemingly low-stakes plot.

In essence, it’s one of those slightly addictive stories that’s more about the characters than anything else, and that made it brilliant.

It’s filled with banter, amazing dialogue, characters that feel real, and while you know where the story is going, it’s not clear how you’ll get there. Which made it comforting but still entertaining.

Gwen and Art has an almost Disney-like quality. It’s fun, lighthearted, but with a message you know you're going to get to, and when you do, it’s going to hit hard.
