This book was amazing! I loved the Parisian atmosphere, Madi’s love for photography, Rémy, and so much more. The cute nicknames, the pop culture references, and tension. I loved the layers to each character and they way they dealt with their fears.
I highly recommend to those who love a sweet romantic comedy. And if you want to escape to France at Christmas time, this is a perfect book.

Thank you to the author for the eARC. All opinions are my own.

Clean holiday romance that wasn't the typical fake date or return to hometown holiday storyline

I was baffled by the basic premise of this book because I didn’t get why Josh booked Madi a separate hotel room from him when they are adults who have been dating for over two years. I thought I missed something. But eventually I realized the primary audience for this type of “clean” (what judgy phrasing) romance novel must expect that. So, OK. Fine.

Overall, I thought the book was super cute. I could have done without Madi’s constant “dumb American” insecurities, but I enjoyed her character arc and that she cut things off with Josh early enough for there to be plenty of good Rémy time. I thought the author did a great job of making Paris seem dreamy and Rémy the dream guy you’d expect in a rom-com.
