Beautiful Disaster by Kate Brian

You'd think a book about a psychopath would be a little more interesting. Sadly, this is probably my least favorite of all the Private and various spin-off books thus far. I guess I shouldn't hold too much against BD because it does need to set up Ariana's new world/life, but at the same time it can be summed up fairly easily:

Kaitlyn extorts an insane amount of money out of Ariana and then moves in.

Or, Kaitlyn's back and will apparently be sticking around for at least one more book.

Yawn?

I love the Private series, but couldn't stand Ariana, so I was hesitant to read the Privilege series. However, I love Kate Brian, so I dove in. I am so glad I did! These books show you a different side to Ariana and I found myself liking her, rooting for her, and hoping she can figure it all out so she can come out better. I read this then the next two in the series within days. They were fast-paced and full of suspense and a little bit of romance. :) I can't wait to read the last couple books of the series to see what is going to happen to Ariana. I definitely recommend this series!

Not very fond of the main character. I really wanted to love this book, but I think I am too in love with the "private" series.

I remember reading this around 2 years back and being so obsessed with it. It's a high-end story or murder, fashion, and bouncing back. Rawr!

What gets me about this series is that Ariana is certifiably insane, not to mention a serial killer, yet you somehow can’t help but root for her, or at least feel sympathetic toward her in many ways. She’s a great antiheroine and it’s interesting (and a little scary) to get inside her head.

Wow, I remember Ariana's story being a lot more entertaining. I feel like I spent most of the book rolling my eyes and waiting for something more interesting to happen.
