I think thereās a trend going on here with GLās books š„² I go into them really loving them and wanting everything from them - and end up with basically nothing lol *cries*
school diva colleen turns up dead in chapter one of this is why we lie. the bad boys from the boarding school down the street are looking mighty suspicious, and all of colleenās āfriendsā certainly have something to hide - she was the most hated person at school. itās up to jenna to put the pieces together of who wanted to frame her friend and why.Ā
after reading the last novel of GLās, my expectations were for a quick and easy mystery read with predictable twists and spoon-fed answers. the formula pretty much stayed the same for this one.Ā
I absolutely loved the characters in this one and how unique and cliquey they seemed. for once, I wasnāt a fan of the back and forth timelines though - it felt too drawn away from the mystery at hand and definitely was spoon-feeding us the responses we wanted to hear.Ā
also, jenna needs to learn to keep her dang mouth shut. if I would trust someone with my secrets, it would be literally anyone but her. LOL
