I had pretty high hopes for this, but it was just okay. I usually love ya mystery/thrillers  set around a murder mystery. However, I just didn’t connect with this one. It wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t super gripping or interesting to me. The story is also told through confusing jumps in time, and it just feels super unorganized and very hard to follow. The storytelling technique also wasn’t special, there was not really a “hook” that sets this book apart from the others. I also pretty much predicted all the plot points, so not super suspenseful. It was overall, just meh.
