I really enjoyed this and whenever I picked it up it was very hard to put down. Isa and Alex were cute together and I enjoyed seeing them work through the hardships of a relationship and learning that love is something that takes effort and must be fought for. This book dealt with a lot of serious topics as well but I felt like it was done well. I'd recommend this

i enjoyed the setting and the characters, and thought the writing style was nice. it was just a bit boring at times for me, but not to an extreme extent. i’d still recommend it for a romance with a bit more serious topics.
Moderate: Mental illness
Minor: Suicide attempt

I really enjoyed this book! It was super cute, and I was invested in Issa's and Alex's relationship. I have read a lot of ya romance that I didn't really care for as an adult, i.e. the main character was too juvenile so I didn't even like them, but this was refreshing. I would definitely recommend this to any high schooler who is looking for a romantic story.

This isn't an option for CW, but there is also several instances of toxic parents - no physical abuse.
