I’m not much of a poetry reader, but I’ve been challenging myself to read it sometimes.

I enjoyed this collection! This was often pretty straightforward poetry, which works well for me as a novice. There were still some that I didn’t know what to do with, what kind of meaning to take out of it, but that’s ok.

Some favorites:
Phenomenal Woman
The Lesson
Still I Rise
On Aging
Thank You, Lord
