Another great entry!

By far the most political book in series, very heavy handed with outrage and confusion about 2016 events from the author. He created a version of Farage who gets murdered in a funny way.

As for the characters:
Shirley is officially my favourite, very sad she didn't manage to stay clean till the end.
Taverner maybe comes across non-monstrous here, even telling Catherine the truth is fair game.
Whelan could have done with more attention, I assume he is done and will not appear again.
Coe is great, really enjoy him and his batshit antics.
River and Louisa are a bit meh here, Shirley was really the focus.
Wished Ho got even more broken down than he did, lucky weasel.

Lamb still sucks.

Anyways, still a big fan and will definitely start next one soon.

Reading the first 40 pages I had no earthly idea what he was talking about. But it got better. In the beginning the witty and often times humorous repartee was enjoyable but that got old fast. But it is clear that Herron is a good, intelligent writer and I enjoyed the story.
