[b:Beta's Surrender|40981939|Beta's Surrender (Irresistible Omegas, #3)|Nora Phoenix|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1532927414l/40981939._SY75_.jpg|63942933] is entry #4 on my quarantine reading list.

I really liked the first two installments of the Irresistible Omegas, and was excited to expand to a new set of MCs. I liked Greyson, Lars and Sven enough and am always up for some daddy kink action, but unfortunately this one fell a little flat for me. The sex scenes were on point but outside of those I really didn’t get into the story like I previously did. I also don’t think it helped that half the time we were still following the mystery story line that didn’t even involve our main MCs. I found myself skimming a lot of it and wished there was a bit more development in that respect. I think the male pregnancy bit also put me off a bit. It doesn’t bother me in theory, but I couldn’t get the visual of Vieno giving birth out of his b-hole out of my head. I think I may have to give up on this series, but will still continue to see what else this author has to offer.

Holy hell… Lars, my friend, you are one annoying beta. Jesus hahaha I couldn’t with him, the disrespect and brattiness he was showing for almost 60-70% of the book was too much.

Also it felt like this book was the original foursome with a hint of a new couple (Grayson, Lars and Sven) always having sex with some daddy/boy kink/…puppy play kink…?

Overall compared to book two this one wasn’t as enjoyable. I am questioning continuing… I have about 7 more books to read and that is a big chunk of my time… I guess you’ll see based on my next book if I continue with the series or not. Haha

KU.

Let me be upfront. While I love May/December or Age Gap romance, Daddy kink is absolutely not my thing. YKINMKATO. Normally, I would just skip a book with a Daddy relationship ~ but, as the summary states, this is not a stand-alone. This book has a LOT going on that is integral to the whole series. So, I skimmed a lot of the interaction between Grayson, Lars, & Sven.

That said, I really really enjoyed the book, as much for the continued world-building, suspense, & mystery as for the sexy scenes ~ and even skipping what I did, there was still a lot going on. People go missing, new people move to the ranch, and we get an exciting ending to the book that only opens up more questions. I'm completely hooked. I actually had to stop myself from jumping right in to the next one in order write all my thoughts down.

Lars always takes care of Sven. He is always the strong one, when all the people who should have been there for the brothers defied them. But who is strong for him? Who takes care of him. He has a hard time to learn to trust and surrender.
Very lovely Daddy story! With the best Daddy they could wish for!
