This enemies to lovers from Claire Kingsley is melt your Kindle hot. Their story focused a bit more on Cara than Logan which was a nice shift. Cara presents such a tough exterior so it was interesting to see beneath that to her insecurities and vulnerabilities. Though there is still a fierceness in her for protecting those she loves and her claws are sharp! I loved how Logan began to see past the surface, persisting in showing her his love and trust. Logan is amazingly adorable and swoonworthy in his acceptance of parenthood and his care for Cara. This story also has the the Bailey family love and Gram wisdom.

Logan!! He’s one of my favorite brothers.. I wish I kept a list of all his “bro” nicknames! They are so funny when he whips one out.. bronut, brorito, brodelayheehoo(personal favorite), brodentical… so many good ones!

Logan and Cara!! Finally!! They have been “enemies” this entire series and they finally realize they don’t hate each other. This book was one of my favorites of the series! I’m a sucker for some angst and Cara and Logan had it! The banter was amazing! They are so perfect for each other!

After reading this book, (which by the way, I started last night and finished this morning, it was that good), I have to admit I think Logan is my favorite Bailey brother. I do still love growly Evan, but Logan is so sweet at times. He's not afraid to call Cara on her crazy, or tell her she is crazy, but he's still there for her. His broisms made an appearance as always, as did his tube socks. He shows up in unexpected ways, is more mature than you would expect, and it was nice to see that.

Cara was Cara. You learn what makes her who she is and why she acts the way she does. It was great to see her grow and things change between her and Logan. Logan was crazy enough to handle her crazy. It was fun to watch their relationship grow from hate, to friends, to love. As Logan said, in the book "She’d gone from the woman I loved to hate to the most important person on the planet." I really enjoyed this book and now can't wait for Levi's story!

Spoiler filled review/description:

This is a small town love story about two enemies Cara and Logan, they had hooked up during a night of drinking but are still mortal enemies. Logan cannot stop thinking about her body even though he wants to hate her still. They slept together after a banquet event and both keep reminiscing while thinking of one another but are too pussy to admit it. Cara had gotten pregnant after their one night stand. Cara finally told Grace (her bestfriend) and she stood by her letting her know that their babies would be related at least with Logan as the dad. Logan was surprisingly very active in the role of fatherhood, actively accepting what they had done and the consequences, he wanted to appease Cara in any way to be part of the childs life. There was a minor miscarriage scare but it was normal spotting and Logan was the gentleman that she deserved. They become friends with benefits until it gradually grows into something more, Logan ends up eventually asking on her on a proper date. As the baby grew and their relationship, he began to realize he loved her and her crazy self and he was grateful for knocking her up. They met when Cara was sideswiped by a drunk driver and he was the responding EMT but she was okay just shaken. She self sabotaged their relationship from the beginning when Logan began to like her she became bitchy and doubled down on her, returning the attitude. Once Cara finally told him this years later he finally told her he loved her and wanted to marry her crazy ass, nothing would change it or drop the other shoe. Cara got into another accident in present time swerving away from a deer not to hit it but the brakes didn't pump fast enough on the raining / gloomy evening. The same day she ends up having her baby the same day, going into labor after the accident. They named the baby Brodrick after her dad. It's funny because he calls everything Bro or Broseph. Cara decides to kick her mom out of her life after she kept saying that she was a mistake since she was born. Later they all found out that Cara's breaks were tampered with and that it basically was attempted murder and not an deer accident while she was pregnant. The book ended with a beautiful wedding ceremony with all of their loved ones.

The smut was so fawking hot, holy crap. The climax after they got together was so freaking worth it. Such a sweet love story, enemies to lovers for sure has to be a favorite. The passion is like no other. It was a sweet book that I would for sure recommend to anyone that loves a pregnancy trope (which sadly isn't many.)

I knew since the first time I saw them together in Fighting for Us (book 2) Cara and Logan were meant to be. I always saw Logan as just a guy that slept around from book 1 but this book showed how amazing Logan is as a husband and father. My heart melted with the way he cared for Cara from day one of finding out he would be a father. I love all the Bailey brothers but if I had to pick Logan is my favorite.
