Cute and chaste. A little zany at times ( all the friends from middle school Jewish camp come back and someone dresses as a giant matza ball and is involved in a police chase...), But it also has a spiritual depth that I appreciated. Overall, I enjoyed it, and love seeing Jewish characters represented in romance.

I really *wanted* to love this book, and I did for the first half. Then…. It got weird. Characters behaved in outlandish ways that felt more like a bad rom-com. I’ve read a lot of other romance that was more realistic and authentic.
