Cute and charming, feels like a Christmas Hallmark movie romance! Good chemistry between the characters, but still a closed door/rated PG romance.

Spoiler The MC is unsufferable with so much internalized ableism it hurts. She refuses to let go of a 20 year grudge and shuts out literally everyone in her life to her own detrement and as a disabled reader I wanted to shake the sugar out of her constantly.
I was so in love with the premise and it had so many problems

Cute romance, bogged down with constant explanations on details of Judaism, Hanukkah and her illness. Wish it was just integrated more seamlessly as part of the story.

It was fine. I wanted to like it more than I actually did but it treated the reader like an idiot.

It also features the thing that I hate where the book is like 85% done and the main couple finally gets their crap together only for one of them to discover some piece of information and get into a huge fight about it without listening to context.
