I'm invested. I don't usually read series to completion and it's too early rn but maybe I will this time

What the hell is in these books because I am freaking OBSESSED with this series?! I absolutely love the enemies-to-lovers, fated Mates and the way the bond has like a mind of its own and takes over at times.

I liked this installation better than the first book.

Things I liked:
-Sage plot twist
-The Draven brothers
-Nightmare puppies
-The fact that this is everything I was looking for in that Zodiac Academy spin off that I didn’t get.

Things I didn’t like:
- Where they ended up in the cliff hanger. I don’t know why I hate that trope, but it frustrates me so much. I think Savage Lands did this and I’m pretty sure that was when I had enough so I’m glad this is happening early.
-Oil’s narration rubs me the wrong way at times, but maybe I’m just old.

Things I may care about:
-Gryphon
-Oli’s powers

Things I don’t care about:
-Gabe
-Atlas

Things I’ll keep reading (at least for now):
This series

I just want to sit here and wallow in myself until the next book comes out. I am completely ruined for the remainder of the day, just leave me in my sad little cocoon of misery. I keep trying to write this review and I just keep staring at the screen, like it's going to write it for me.

Savage Bonds picks up right were Broken Bonds left off and we get some answers, not many. I have taken my time reading this one because I knew with all the ups and downs and loops that were thrown at us during the book, was only going to be worse at the end.

We get to know Oli a bit more, as well as her Bonds. Some I already liked, some are growing on me, and some, I am not sure about. One thing that I do know is that Gryphon, Gabe, Atlas, North, and even Nox will do what they can to protect Oli. Oil's gifts are also revealed a bit more in this book, as well as some of the other Bonds.

I want to scream at the top of my lungs over the cliffhanger. Of course I knew it was coming. Of course, I knew that something like this would happen. What I didn't expect was the reveal. Why?!? I am questioning everything.

This whole world blows me away. The thought and details put into it are incredible. If you have not picked up Broken Bonds yet, do so. I am excited to see where this series goes and I have my eyes on so many people, that I think I need more eyeballs. Absolutely amazing J. Bree!!
