Fun, rhyming story about a young girl excited to help her mother make bee-bim bop. Includes background info on the dish along with recipe instructions on making it with kids. Adorns!

Very cute. I love that it includes notes by the author explaining the dish and an actual recipe even though it is a kid's picture book.

This was a hit! Our ESL kids were teaching their classmates about their home countries, and so we read this to supplement our Korean girl's lesson. The whole room caught onto the rhyming scheme, calling out "bee-bim bop!" when it was time. Just seeing their reactions tells me this is a good book to have in kindergarten.

Guess what we're having for dinner....?

Pizza... Just kidding. We are having Bee Bim Bop.

There is a recipe in the back of the sing song book for Bee Bim Bop and we are going to fix it. I love the dish and have never made it before, so here goes. It looks like a good recipe.

The nephew listened to the good. I think it was ok for him. Still, we are all excited about the food from the book. The art didn't do anything for me and it served the story. It's about the joys of Bee Bim Bop which is a mix-up rice dish.

Notes: Korean, cooking with mom, culture,

Maybe for some reason feels a little for the younger side like kindergarten and first. the text has a rhythm to it so would be easy to read out loud. it is Rhyming stanzas is on most pages.
