This picture book is adorable and displays the moral lesson of sharing with those you love. It is a quick read that is perfect for younger ages. This book begins with the focus on a young girl and her favorite sweater. It then shifts to her interactions with her brothers surrounding the idea of passing her sweater down. This books focus on sharing as a way of loving those around us is a great lesson to use in a classroom for social-emotional learning.

What a fun book about hand-me-downs and siblings! The illustrations really bring this story to life.

Picture book.  Olivia has a favorite red sweater.  They do everything together, except grow.  So when her sweater gets a little tight, her mother hands it down to the younger brother.  What?!? Olivia is not happy about this arrangement, but then she finds a family picture of her older brother wearing the sweater and thinks maybe she can share after all.  Her conversation with her older brother was very sweet, and the ending was perfect.  The illustrations were simple, with a red, white, and blue color palette.  The expressions of the children really pop.  A fun read about the relatable struggle of "new" sibling clothes.
