I've adored the wild ride that is the Villainous Things series. I didn't even know I needed sexy gay superheroes (and villains, yessssss, the villains) in my life until C. Rochelle and her vicious Suarez family of supervillains fell into it. And I am SO GLAD they did.

I'm SORRY, my lovely little sammich boys, I am comparing you against your brothers, so this is probably my least favorite book - in a series of super-spectactular books that I can't stop screaming about, so the bar was set HIGH. Definitely check out C. Rochelle's GIRTHY list of tropes, k!nks, and content warnings at the beginning of the book.

I liked the dynamics between twins Gabe and Dre and how their relationship(s) develop(s) with Theo. (Heehee, sammich.) Multi-vers doesn't quite edge over the line into twincest (much as Theo might like it to!), but C. Rochelle manages to aggressively flirt with that line without every actually crossing it. I'm not into 'cest romances (it's one of my few hard limits), but I thoroughly enjoyed Multi-vers and how C. Rochelle weaves the hearts and desires of these three (total psychopaths, let's be real) together.

This is the fourth and final book in the Villainous Things series (barring any extra everyone getting together type of short story). This series is best read in order, as Enter the Multi-Vers closes the loop on the larger overarching series plotline - and also opens the door to various spin-off series, woo!

I am in love with this world and I don’t know why it took so long to start the series! The story arc was tied up nicely while opening doors to potential spin offs, which would be awesome!

Now the reason for low rating towards a series that I really like has to do with the throuple aspect. I’m super picky because if I feel that it’s the slightest bit uneven then it changes the whole mood for me. I would have LOVED to see more of a relationship be built between Dre and Theo. We see their interactions more in the epilogue but throughout the story I felt it was the Gabe and Theo story with them mentioning constantly that they wish Theo would join. Gabe and Theo had a deeper connection and spent days along solidifying that connection and fucking like crazy. When Dre finally joined up I expected to see the same development between him and Theo but didn’t get it.

My least favorite of the series. Took forever to get going and I really don't like Theo. More angst and less humor than the earlier books. Also, not enough of The Rabble Chat.
