Almost had to DNF this because the characters thought process made me cringe really bad, but powered through by skim reading it, definitely my least favourite of the 4 books.

This book. This book made me cry. Which none of Tessa baileys books have ever done. It made me giggle. It made me hot. This book is everything. Belmont and Sage are literally THE couple. They’re the ones. They’re it. The other books in this series were sweet and good, some didn’t even excite me. But they were WELL worth it for the prize of reading Belmont and Sage’s love story. Seeing them shine? Sensational.

  | These two were just so heartbreaking! So confused, so damaged, and yet, so good, and kind, and giving. Getting them through their trauma to be whole enough to be with each other, that took some doing. They were so busy trying to protect each other, when they finally realized what they needed to do, it was if the sun shone upon them. Definitely a perfect ending for these two, and a satisfying wrap up to the series <3

This was certainly a different vibe than the other three books. Very dramatic, and I think the climax was resolved a little quickly. That said, I love Bel and I am so glad we got his story. Him and Sage’s relationship had a very sweet aspect to it, in spite of the codependency they struggled to avoid. I absolutely LOVED the rest of the Clarksons coming to their aid and the conclusion of their family journey.
