 3/10. I don't like that Vlad is too proud to tell anyone, especially the adults in his life, that there is seriously dangerous stuff happening with him. I hate when conflicts occur in books that happen because of a lack of communication. I also hate that Vlad has a naive sense of "killing is wrong" even when it comes to the guy who has tried to murder him multiple times. Also, Vlad has so many things and secrets that he keeps to himself for no apparent reason which is really frustrating. I liked Vlad's relationship with Otis and Henry but that's about it.Â
