"When You Reach Me" was a certainly interesting read. The short chapters less than 200 pages made the story fly by, while still managing to teach some valuable lessons. Set in the real world, the time-travel and dystopian aspects of the novel made it a bit confusing and backwards at times, but I can imagine it would be fun to reread this book, now knowing how the seemingly meaningless events throughout the story actually end up tying it together. While I personally feel that some questions remain unanswered and it does have a more gloomier, mysterious feel (which I didn't necessarily hate, but it isn't for everyone) I did enjoy reading this book, and I'd recommend it to anyone who liked "A Wrinkle in Time", 10 and up!👍

This was a really interesting listen! I found so many of the children really endearing. I also related to aspects of Miranda's lifestyle, and enjoyed the details of the world that she picked out in her thoughts.
