I'm taking this down half a star again because of the extra "Love Egoist" at the end of the manga. The actual story in this volume of OHSHC was as great as ever, but I just still cannot get behind a relationship between teacher and student in these extra stories. Again, this is just my opinion, so please don't hate me :)

These books have really grown on me since the beginning! The characters and the story feel more cohesive as I keep reading.

I love when the twins get chapters

I love the volumes where I get to see Kyoya be his usual Demon Lord self, and I love the twins being themselves so this volume was great-as most of them are- but I do avoide the very last chapters with the egotistical love witch stuff just because I don't know anything about it and it doesn't seem like anything I'm into. It's easier to avoide those chapters than pretend like I'm interested which is why I don't give the volumes that have them my usually 5 stars because I have to sit through and skip them and it feels like a waste of page time.

Now it's time for Kyoya and Hani's story.well, technically it's not a complete story about Kyoya's side story, but at least we know how he feels towards Haruhi, as in he tried to defend her. Good job, Mom!

About Hani's story, it's pretty unusual to see Mori talks a lot here. Then, both of their younger brother is very unique in a way. The dynamics of their siblings is interesting.

I do wonder if the next volume will unveil more of each character's story ... I think it will be

bit of a mixed bag for me. i love that this included some chapters to flesh out more of the background of the characters. the hiitachin twins was strong, throwing kyoya at the mall with haruhi created some great comedic moments as well as letting us know that kyoya does have a heart even though he pretends he doesn't.

the main chunk of this volume focuses on hunny and his younger brother yasuchika. we also meet mori's younger brother satoshi. the brothers of each family are exact opposites, and the haninozuka-morinozuka pairs are opposites which gave me some laughs.

really did not GAF about the robelia girls, and i also didn't like that side story about the egotists or whatever. i don't like the romanticization of teacher/student relationships

This volume focuses on Kyoya being in a shopping mall for the first time, Hunny's relationship with his younger brother, backstory on the twins and the first time they cried in public, and a chapter from the Love Egoist.

I didn't mind this volume. My favourite chapters were the last two with the backstory on the twins and the first time they cried in public, and a chapter from the Love Egoist. I quite like seeing Kyoya behaving like a normal person in a mall, but I didn't like the main focus of this volume being Hunny's relationship with his younger brother. I just wasn't too interested in that story and was the main reason as to why it took me so long to read this manga.

I am enjoying the series and I would recommend it as a shojo manga to read. I will continue on with volume 8 soon.
