I really loved it! Dark and intriguing, bold and sultry! Very fun read! Great characterization, loved the descriptions and all of the things. I love Greek mythology so I might be a little biased, but I loved this book.

I really enjoyed this book! I felt like it was just enough of a slow burn, great character development, and enough spice to make it a fun read. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the characters or the setting at the very beginning, but they hooked me quickly and I ended up really loving the development of Hades, and the emergence of Persephone finding herself along the way. Their love story is a quick and easy read, and I devoured it in a short time! I am excited to move on to the next books in the series!

I’m a sucker for any Greek mythology or decent retelling.

I was honestly really surprised that the ratings on this book weren’t higher. Unlike many books that take a while to get into, I was obsessed with this book after the first 2 chapters. The only sad part was how fast it was. I am not usually a fan of contemporary series, but this one did not feel cheesy, and I felt the characters very easy to love. If you are looking for heavy Greek mythology, this is probably not the book for you, as it gives very little information on the Greek gods. But if you are looking for a sexy fantasy romance novel with swoon worthy characters, I would highly recommend.

Cute story! But I feel as though the end was kinda rushed. I overall enjoyed the story, it had great character development from most parties… 4/5 for me

Just spent a while googling to try to see if this was mediocre fan fiction…. Because that’s how it read. I feel like the whole book I was on the edge of my seat for ANYTHING to happen (smut, action, connection with the characters) and nothing really did. I’m probably going to try the 2nd book to see if they built up to anything so I didn’t just waste my time, but unless that’s incredible I couldn’t recommend this one. The grammar and spelling were enough (I was reading and listening to the audiobook at the same time or I wouldn’t have been able to get through them), but the plot was sloppy and the characters were boring.
