Never a day goes by without Cal facing capture or worse. It's becoming a little repetitive but it certainly keeps the pages turning. He either has the worst luck that he is always in danger or the best as he manages to avoid capture.
As a book for young adults this one definitely hits the mark.

"April" is the fourth installment in the thrilling Conspiracy 365 series written by Gabrielle Lord. Packed with suspense, action, and mystery, this book continues the gripping journey of Cal Ormond as he races against time to uncover the truth behind a family curse and survive a year filled with danger.

The story picks up where the previous book left off, with Cal facing numerous challenges and enemies. As the youngest member of the Ormond family, Cal finds himself entangled in a web of secrets and conspiracies, seeking answers to the riddles left by his late father. In "April," the narrative takes an exciting turn as Cal discovers new clues and gets closer to unraveling the mystery behind the Ormond Singularity.

One of the strengths of this series is its fast-paced and action-packed nature, and "April" is no exception. The book keeps readers engaged with its constant twists and turns, leaving them eager to uncover the next piece of the puzzle alongside Cal. The author's ability to maintain suspense throughout the story is commendable, making it difficult to put the book down.

Gabrielle Lord's writing style is straightforward and accessible, catering well to the young adult audience. The dialogues are crisp, and the descriptions effectively create a vivid picture of the scenes and characters. Lord excels at creating tension-filled moments and adrenaline-pumping action sequences that keep readers on the edge of their seats.

While the plot remains intriguing, "April" suffers slightly from a lack of character development. The supporting characters, including Cal's friends and allies, could have been given more depth and nuance. Their motivations and backgrounds feel underexplored, which hinders the reader's connection with them. Additionally, the series' overarching storyline can sometimes become convoluted, making it difficult to keep track of all the subplots and intricate details.

Despite these shortcomings, "April" delivers on its promise of an enthralling adventure. It offers readers a suspenseful ride with plenty of unexpected surprises. Fans of the Conspiracy 365 series will find this installment satisfying as it answers some questions while paving the way for further revelations in the subsequent books.

In conclusion, "April" is a solid addition to the Conspiracy 365 series, providing an action-packed continuation of Cal Ormond's quest for truth. While it falls short in terms of character development and occasionally complex plotlines, it remains an enjoyable read for fans of fast-paced thrillers. Readers looking for an adrenaline-fueled adventure will find themselves turning pages eagerly as they join Cal on his journey to unveil the secrets of the Ormond family.

These books. Each one is more ludicrous and far-fetched than the last, but here I am reading them. And I am sure I will keep on going. Now I feel like I have to see it through to the end. I blame my husband! I read books 1-3 years ago, but never finished, and he started reading them so here we go.

This was the least interesting/enjoyable of the series so far. I didn't feel as though much happened.

Even better than the 3rd! Each book has gotten better so far. I thought, with 12 books, the plot might become uninteresting, but I'm excited to keep reading. There is always something different happening and a new piece of information to learn. Not a predictable book overall. So, yeah, a fun read!

Another great book in this series! There are so many twists and turns. The unexpected is always happening, and I never know where the plot is going to go! Cal continues to drive the story forward with his great character. His resolve to help his family, his despair in tough circumstances, and his basic humanity are all so believable and compelling.

I loved that in this book we meet some new characters who are never quite who you think they are. They sort of pop into the story, and we are left to wonder, Do we trust this person? And then the story develops around them, Cal learns to trust them or hate them or whatever happens, and we have this new delightful person involved in the story!

The action is non-stop, and the mystery surrounding the Ormond Riddle continues to perplex me with every new discovery. We finally see the Riddle in this book, and it's such a delicious enigma. The suspense is killing me and I can't wait to solve this mystery.

More wonderful interactions between Boges and Winter. They bicker bicker bicker all the time, but I think, if they would just trust each other, they could be good friends.

Loving this series, and I am devastated by the cliffhanger. I need that next book!
