Just found a couple new books so this have been on my to-read list. I like it but I think it might be a while before I read the next book. This is more of a to-read-when-you-don't-have-anything-else-to-do book, kinda have a long to.read list and I want to start on some of them. But this book was stil very funny and interesting.

It's been a while since I've read one of these, and I'm remembering why. I just can't seem to get into it... and given that I'm the type of person who feels like they have to finish a series when they start it... oh well.

I don't know why I find it so hard to connect with. Mostly when I read these I end up feeling confused, and then I feel old, ha! I've read and loved other manga, so why I keep bouncing off this one I don't know. I think it could be the pacing? It always strikes me as quite frenetic. I look at the characters and want to feed them tranquilizers. Everything's such a drama.

Yes, I know. Get off my lawn.

I enjoyed this volume mainly for the back-story about Hanajima. We also learned a bit more about Kyo due to the introduction of his father. The first chapter, where the new student council members were introduced, slowed the story down too much for me. There are already so many characters. I'm having a hard time keeping track, but I'm still really enjoying tis series.

We learn more about Hanajima and how she was born with her curse in this volume. I sometimes forget that the author, Natsuki Takaya, has invested a lot of time in this series to go so far as to give even "minor" characters in depth backgrounds that it's refreshing to read about them. I love it when all the characters you encounter in a series have their own lives outside of being friends or siblings with the main protagonist. We also get a glimpse of Kyo's father in this volume and learn how he feels about his son, that it makes me glad that Kazuma was there when Kyo needed him the most.

We also see more of Rin and see her interacting with Shigure in a way that makes me raise my eyebrow just a bit. I can't remember what's going on between the two of them, so I guess that means I just need to continue reading to figure it out.

Another great volume, with lots more intrigue. It feels like this story was well planned out when the mangaka started drawing up the chapters. It's a delight to read,
Though one thing I can't get over is how people with light hair in b&w have dark hair when colored and vice versa, this has me so confused.

I have read the cute, heartbreaking story of Fruits Basket years ago. And I read it about 3 or 4 times, maybe more. The story is a bit cliche, but the characters are memorable.

A story about closed off loners that broken, depressed and sad individuals hoping for a happiness they could never achieve. Each characters deals with the pain and loneliness differently, learning how to embrace happiness and bloom into individuals they never thought they could be.

Its beautifully written, heartwarming, with relatable emotions anyone can feel. This is one any manga avid reader should go through at least once. A classic that should honestly be recommend by anyone.

Do I recommend it:
