This was a sweet, lovely and at times very funny story. Quite delightful to read.

One of my favorite Heyer books. Pen and Richard are both super fun, excellent cast of secondary characters and big mystery at the center. Totally diverting!

One of Heyer's cross-dressing tales, mixed with a murder mystery in a Regency-era country setting. The hero is typical Heyer, with somewhat less charm than usual, though the heroine is fun, and there are some nifty, comical side characters. Also, the B romance is comical.

¡Me encanto! Sencillamente... encantada.

I liked that the heroine wasn't penniless in this one

Cute but probably not the Heyer to start with.

After reading Devil's Cub, I was hungry for more Georgette Heyer. While this was a fine book, I was a bit let down. The story is fairly similar to Devil's Cub, but not as well executed.
