Just darling. And problematic, but in all the best most British ways. I loved that this was set in fancy Bath!

A zany but lonely octogenarian, a recently heartbroken and unemployed young woman and a former lawyer make for funny living companions, but Zillah has the space after her husband died and Essie needed somewhere to live after stray email and her brothers friend accidentally ruined her life.
Little did she know that this unlikely group was she was exactly what Essie needed to help her reframe her whole life.
This story was an absolute delight to read, and I fell in love with the characters in so many different ways. It was sad, happy, uplifting, and sweet all at the same time and was a pleasure to read. It did kind of feel like a few different stories thrown together at points and felt like there wasn’t a clear story or ending, but that also worked for the story.
