Weird, absurd, entertaining nonetheless.
Randall Munroe first grabbed my attention with his book What if. It had the similar humor as this one, where he explores some very extreme answers to very valid questions.
At times the answers do get ridiculous and make you chuckle.
Reading this book made me think of the similarities between it and Andrew Stanek's How to Kill Hitler: A Guide For Time Travelers. Another instant classic, a well researched one too.

Not quite as interesting as What If. Still good but just not as great.

Somehow reading about physics is a lot more fun when it's the completely outlandish kind you hope no one will (but also secretly hope they do) try.

They saved the best for last with "How to Destroy This Book." Fortunately, I have the indestructible version. Not because of a "Hogwarts Library/Ring of Power/Jumanji" situation, but because of an Amazon/Kindle/Digital Archive type of situation.

How To is meticulously researched, entertainingly over-the-top, and fantastically detailed with incredible guest interviews and footnotes.

"How to Throw Things" was my favourite chapter - we were crying because we were laughing so hard.
