Another good story. I quite liked how conniving and annoying the God Mother is. I like Azriel. And the whole thing about the vampires. The fact that Elle killed someone and then wiped her own memories of it, granted she was only a child when that happened but that was well done and adds a lot of intrigue.

4.25 Stars 

The Godmother is my favorite. I'm sure everyone is shocked. Why am I such a sucker for devious women. 

A lot gets explained in this book, which does affect the pacing a bit, but the overall plot progression is pretty good and it's making me question who the true villain of the piece is. 

Also, Arielle DeLisle is great. Just so you know,

Still loving this story. The characters keep growing and changing and there's twists and turns hidden around every corner.
Can't wait for the next part and kind of dreading the end coming closer.
