this book could have been good if it went deeper into everyone's psyches. as it is now, it's just average which is honestly a shame. also the author seems not to realize how not good of a person the main character is which doesn't help its case

Wow this book moved at breakneck speed I literally read it in one day. Absolutely gripping and so much of Korede's feelings towards her sister and other women in her life resonated with me so much. Absolutely loved it.

So glad I finally read this!!! It was so good and I read it in one day. I loved the structure of the book, shortest chapters ever . It was easy and complex at the same time. Very mysterious and dark but with a light tone. It was just amazing! 

I bought this from Book + Bootle in St Petersburg , bookseller told me to get it . It was already in my tbr

What a fun read. I really liked the way it was laid out - it kept the pacing moving very quickly. Sisterhood is a complicated and sacred and terrifying and beautiful and unimaginable thing, and I think this book gets to the heart of that.

Wow I loved this! I expected this to be good but nothing special but wow I was wrong. Read this entirely in one afternoon, I didn't even put it down long enough to get a bookmark. For such a short and genuinely funny book it covered themes of toxic families, abuse, enabling etc brilliantly. I loved being in Korede's head with all of her struggles and questionable decisions

This book is great, but that ending ...
The story is simple, you follow Korede and her little sister Ayolla. The twist? Ayolla is a serial killer with a bad habit of killing her boyfriends, leaving Korede to clean up the mess. Our story starts with Ayolla freshly single, as she keeps as eye out for her new man. Only this time, she chooses a man that Korede has already had her eyes on.
In all, I enjoyed this story up until the end. It does a good job in showing a sisters love, but to a point this just feels like to much. Understandable, but not something that I can just sit here and say ... Ya know I think this is okay. Korede is a great character, but her people pleasing is this stoies downfall. I'm not saying this isn't a good book, it really is just that is you're looking for a happy ending ... This isn't it.

It is a good read in understanding a POV of someone that is a bystander, an accomplice to a family member's horrible habit. You see a snippet of a wealthy world represented in Nigeria.
