Fun art throughout the graphic novel, and I really enjoyed the plot twist at the end! However, I wish the ending was a bit more fleshed out and we had more explanation for some of what occurred throughout the book. I wish we knew what the heck the forehead thing was - how did it become a source of power? And I felt like the line with Beth was totally steam rolled over in favor of the pipes plot line. Overall, I think it could have been a bit more thought out, but it was an enjoyable way to pass the time nonetheless.

Love the art and concept but not the plot towards the end or how it wrapped up.

Fun environmental thriller with a cryptid plot line - such an odd mixture of things that somehow really works

2.5 but rounding up.
I really liked the art style and tbh want to get the "Jersey Devil" tattooed on me.

I really enjoyed this graphic novel. The mystery of what happened to Beth, the tension of stopping the pipeline, and the interactions with the cryptid had me completely glued to the pages.
This was almost a perfect 5 stars for me, but there’s just something holding me back from giving it those last few points. I think it’s that I wish there would have been more hints early on about the identity of the pipeline dude so that I could have pieced it together. That’s the best part about mysteries after all.
