I am so happy I read this book! What a lovely, romantic story with two wonderful characters! I was so in love with Grey and Fallon, they are perfect soulmates, loving each other since they were fourteen, loyal to each other as friends for so many years, steadfast in their loyalty. Their families were against their being friends, so they were friends in secret, helped each other through terrible moments, and never ever failed in believing the best of the other.

Fallon has a duty to her family, to follow her parent’s dictates, and that involved not to be friends with Greyson Monroe, her neighbor bad boy turned rock star. She was a lady of breeding and she needed to marry a man who would improve her family’s station and business. Poor thing, she only wanted to be a doctor, help kids and be with Grey. After a forced separation, during with she was engaged to a creep called Bacchus (horrible name!), she found him out talking crap about her and planning to be unfaithful as soon as he got her hooked in marriage. She threw the ring at him and ran away to the airport, decided to get as far away as possible. And on the way she called her old friend, told her the plan, and he ran to join her in a crazy romp around Europe.

These two are perfect together, she just needed to accept it and he needed to man up and tell her he’s loved her all this time. They have a wonderful adventure, with lots of turbulence due to the dark interferences from home. She has a toxic mother, toxic ex, absent father and a twin brother who is not living up to his brotherly duty. His friends rally around and there are hilarious moments of friends who know each other so well they bash and banter and bet against each other, so secure they are in their union.

It’s adventurous, passionate and playful, with some angsty moments, but other joyful moments of love and clarification of what always was and had not been seen. I loved it!

In another life, you’re everything I’d ever want. In another life. Just not in this one.

Gosh I adored this story. Greyson and Fallon seem so right together but their past - and Fallon's family - has meant that the timing has never quite worked for these two to be together. But when Fallon's life falls apart, Grey is there for her and he sees this as his chance to finally get the girl. I loved the romance in this story - I am a sucker for a good second chance romance and this one is written beautifully. Plus the chemistry between these two is amazing and I could not get enough.

"You’re irresistibly perfect as you are and not as who they say you have to be."

This book wasn’t bad I just couldn’t really get into it. Fallon and Greyson were childhood best friends but things were complicated and several roadblocks. Fallon didn’t seem to be 29 with the things she endured and the way she handled different situations. Greyson seemed like he was always chafing her. They really loved each other but something o can’t pinpoint I felt was missing. Not a bad story but not the greatest.

I loved this so much. Greyson and Fallon were everything! Spanning over 15 years, Julie told their story so beautifully that I was captivated and totally invested from start to finish. Both characters were divine, and following their journey to happiness brought heartbreak and angst, but also so much swoon, off the charts chemistry, and total bliss.

I absolutely adored this! Grey and Fallon have my whole heart!!! I loved everything about this, the romance, the found family, the writing! This author keeps climbing my favorite authors list with every book of hers I read and I can't wait for the other guys' books, especially Lenox and Asher!
