Wow. I put off this series for a while because I'd sort of went off billionnaire romances because I'd read too many. I regret that choice. I absolutely LOVED this book and I ATE it up.

Snarky enemies to lovers banter is always a vibe I can get down with and this had it in spades. I love a heroine who doesn't back down and calls out bs when she sees it.

I loved watching their story play out and the tension was πŸ˜˜πŸ‘Œ

Ana Huang will always be a winner, because her books aren't only good from a plot and relationship perspective, but they are so well written. I'm in the story, I'm feeling the whole setting, her characters are always fully rounded.

No notes.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh ilovedit!!!!!! classic grumpyxsunshine trope. plot was def a little random and weird and confusing at times but im not here for that lol, all i care about is romance and this book captured romantic moments sooo well. not only that but she writes high emotions so well, i could def feel frustration, passion, and love (and lust) etc. in many of the scenes. vivian's my girl and love her down, nobody can say she not one loyal ass bitch. once she down for you shes deowwwwnnnn like town, ok? loved her confidence arc of not letting other ppl run her life for her, even if they were important to her. s/o to the besties isa and sloane and seester agnes, they all held it down for my girl. i grew to like dante through the book which i wasn't sure i would tbh. he was a little too grumpy for me at first and i was not a fan lol but once he started falling for her? when he realised he was falling for her? when he accepted he fell for her? yeah, thats my jam, TURNITUPPPPP!!!! ilove a mean, tight ass, overly obnoxious dick who has one lil soft spot for his girl lol. overall it was so good and all that i ask for in a romance. humor, love, smut, thats pretty much it lmao i give it a solid 4 stars. im not sure id read it again but i did enjoy it for what it is. it was worth the time it took to read but i think thats all it deserves lol (maybe id reread the smut...).

I had high hopes for this one, but I just, couldn’t get into it as much as I would have liked to. I thought the scenes were amazing, as Ana Huang put them in positions that would force them to communicate. I just don’t think the arranged marriage trope was for me. Not in the way it was written here.

It wasn't as horrible as everyone said.  This is my first Anna Huang book that I didn't DNF.
I did enjoy the story, it has a slow beginning and slow end but it's was a nice, softer dark romance. (Does that make sense?)
Anyway, once Vivian and Dante were actually attempting to be a couple the banter! The jokes!! Omg loved it. Dante groveling and courting *chefs kiss*
Dark, quite brooding MMC with a quick witty fierce FMC who are both stubborn, hot, and funny when they want to be??? AAhh Sign me up 🫰🏾✨️

That being said... I do have one negative thing about the lovely Anna.
She's SUPER repetitive. There is so much telling of emotions and thoughts over and over rather than showing us or letting us infer. It could have been 50-100 pages shorter without the constant inner monologuing.
I feel like she killed her own banter with it.
The moments that didn't have  monologuing I was kicking my little feet and in shocked with how these characters were just vibing

Lets see if KO Pride is better bc I will be continuing
