Well written and characters were fully explored with colourful backstories. In the beginning, the plot played out like scenes in a K-drama with satisfying buildup. My favourite parts were the friendship development between the leads with snappy dialog (mostly from the sarcastic Vivian).

I liked Vivian a lot. She was independent although from a wealthy background and had her own successful business which meant she held her own. MMC is a rinse-and-repeat alpha billionaire type with retribution/violent tendencies who gave good humble grovel at the end. I honestly wouldn’t have gone back to him 🤷🏻‍♀️

I actually loved Vivian’s friends the most and am excited to read Kai and Isabella’s story.

Dante bothered me for most of the book.

I loveddd the book and Dante and Vivian’s relationship was so cuteee at the end obvi not at the start they DEFINITELY needed to work to get their relationship they have

I loved how Vivian never forgave him so easily and she really made him work up his forgiveness which also allowed Dante to realise he had to change his outlook on everything if he wanted to keep her

Full of laughs, cute banter, spicy scenes, and obviously there is no romance book unless you’re getting pissed at the characters for doing the wrong things 🙄 and this book had it all

I love Ana Huang’s writing and her books so from a biased pov I’m always gonna love her books and this is just another one on the top of my list

Super easy read with a solid second chance romance story. Ana Huang's writing has come a long way since the Twisted series. The story progressed perfectly without much, if any, use of filler. Tooke me a day and a half to read.
