Devil May Care isn't bad. The author doesn't commit any unforgivable sins. It flows along nicely.
It's like a BBC Detective Show, there's nothing wrong with any of them....except they're all the same. And that's really what I'm feeling with this series. It's OK but I've seen it all before.
If it was a three book series, I'd probably continue. I already have book three as a part of an omnibus. But I've just noticed there are at least five books and honestly I don't think I have that sort of patience.

I fell even harder for Akil in this book. I'm curious to learn more about this world and the developments with Stefan look interesting. Diving into the next one now.
