Want to get super paranoid? Listen to a book about early onset Alzheimer's disease and forget the phrase, "sort ascending" while teaching an Excel class. Breathe a sigh of relief because 10 minutes later you get "discontiguous" without missing a beat.

A well told, if tragic story.

Still Alice was emotional and very moving. I appreciated the realistic portrayal of Alice's journey. And although I have degenerative physical disease, I could really relate to a lot of what Alice was feeling and experiencing. A well-written book that grabbed my attention from the start. I highly recommend and plan on reading more books by Lisa Genova.

A heart wrenching story of how illness can break families and careers. Alice is a successful professor at Harvard with a loving family. Then things take a turn for the worst when she is diagnosed with early onset Alzhiemers. The book chronicles the two to three years of her life when she finds this news and shared it with her family and friends.

An amazing book about the terrible things people must go through who have Alzheimer's. It was so utterly human & raw.

A compassionate, human story about early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Non-sentimental, hard and sad, it's a love story between a family and a disappearing woman who is still valuable and worthy of respect and honor.

Beautiful book. Gives you insight on how your patients or family members with dementia think and feel. Helps you react and help them better and form better responses in conversations. so so sad

I loved this book, even though it scared me half to death. It made me think about how fragile life and mind are, and that we shouldn't take a single thing for granted because no matter our station in life, it can be ripped from us at any time.
