The book is divided into quick mindful breaks which can be done by both men and women. There's nothing women specific here, so if you want to pick it up being a man, give it a go.

The mindful breaks are of three kinds - calm breaks, empowerment breaks and achievement breaks. The author speaks about a topic and usually a client who benefitted from that break and then talks about the steps for the break. The book also features interviews with other people who have been helped by these breaks.

Overall, the book was decent. Can be picked up.

I received a free copy of the book from NetGalley.

This book was, at times, a bit too self-helpy for me. But it definitely did change my perspective a bit on mindfulness and how it can be brought into all types of situations to improve my outlook and response to stress and other emotions.
