I’m afraid I’ll spend the rest of my life looking for another book like this but will never find one.

I loved how flawed every character is and how they’re all so obviously a product of their surroundings. O couldn’t help but sympathize with them, even when their actions were wrong. I also appreciated some general comments on the society at the time, influernced by the wars. A very touching read, but soooo worth it.
