Fine. Some good chuckle lines interspersed -- Fletch vibes from the narrator.

Duhovito, sarkastično, melanholično, životno, iskreno, ruski.

Bilo bi super da ima još više priča u knjizi.

I love Dovlatov. Everyone should love Dovlatov. Or at least check out his works.

Life is never easy, we travel, we horde memories together but after all these are the things that shape us and remind us how we have been before and what changed. The writer just arrived to America from the USSR and has opened his suitcase where he has 8 objects, which have a story and so the 8 short novellas start from here. "There's a reason that every book, even one that isn't very serious, is shaped like a suitcase."

This is a very odd little book, but I enjoyed it.
