This is a sad story. It gives a whole new spin on zombie stories and makes them into sad, pitiful things and not the monsters we know. Well, right up until the end when, instead of being put out of his misery one boy turns and goes on a killing spree inside the hospice. Ah, there's the blood thirsty, ravenous monsters we've all come to love. Lol Thw sad part is that he bites a little girl who was only there bc her mom worked there and had no option but to bring her with.

A fun dystopian zombie novella! I was a little disappointed in the ending but it was still a good closing.

Yet another twist on the zombie genre, ‘Where the Dead Go to Die’ focuses on a hospice where the living dead are taken care of until it’s their time to end their ‘existence’. I was all set to give this four stars, but thought what the hell. It is such a good story and so well written that I just had to give it that extra star in the hope that others would give it a try. Dries and Gunnells, both together and individually, are producing some great horror stories despite being very much under the radar.

This was a pretty interesting twist on the typical zombie story. It was terrifying and eerie. I felt gross after listening to this one. What an ending as well! A wild ride and definitely worth the read!

Started out good, the middle was good, the ending was way to abrupt. I think they had fleshed out the ending more and it would have been a 4 from me.

Ahh, the mixed emotions of cursing out the authors at the end of a book, wanting to stand up and applaud, and laughing because your body needs to respond somehow to the information given but nothing seems appropriate.
There are many social issues raised in this book which are all too common in todays world. If you change the disease in this book you could probably put “based on true events” on the cover, which is sad.
