3.2/5 ⭐️s - Okay, so Freida did an awesome job pulling me out of a reading slump again, but this book felt like a remix of others. Right from the start, it gave me major vibes of "The Housemaid" and "The Silent Patient." When I tried explaining the plot to my friend, she legit thought I was talking about "Verity" (haven’t read that one, so idk how similar they are).

Overall, it was a good read but nothing mind-blowing. I guessed the twist super early because it felt like a "same, same but different" situation compared to other books. If you’re into that kind of thing, you might still enjoy it!

I really enjoyed this book. I like how it comes full circle with the beginning and the end of the book. However, it was VERY similar to Verity so some ways but I did enjoy it

This book was pretty good. I was just as confused as Sylvia trying to decide who was telling the truth. But I never would’ve seen it coming that Maggie helped Adam with killing/ cleaning up Mack & Irena. I’m glad that Freddy came & helped Sylvia because if he didn’t she would’ve been a goner.

I loved this book, it gave me such Verity vibes by Colleen Hoover. So if you loved that book, this is a must read. I throughly enjoyed it a lot
