A great end to an epic series. Didnt quite reach the 5plus of blood song. But was a satisfying ending and Ryan remains a genius and colossus in this genre

I still feel that no book in this series has come close to the first.

Wow, this book and its predecessor made for much better sequels to Blood Song than the actual sequels.

The author has put everything a Vaelin Fan could possibly want into this book: action, war, battles, duels, tricks, magic, pirates, priests, trials, a wolve, a horse and philosophy.

My favorite line: "...as soon as I find my horse."

Around a 4.5. Thoroughly compelling conclusion to the sequel duology with a returned focus on Vaelin al Sorna.
