I received a copy of this book via NetGalley.

This is a really good, compelling read for such a short story. A small group of people are holed up in an old manor house in Cornwall. The weather is atrocious but the relentless snow is not the only white stuff out to get them.

Well, this wasn't my favorite book by this author. I think it's just too short to fully get a sense of what's happening. The creatures were interesting, but I still don't have a clear picture of what they really are. I didn't find this to be very scary (more just confusing and strange). I did like the isolation and snow in this though.

A creepy, winter read!

A quick, perfect read on a cold, snowy day. Gorgeous language--I'll definitely be reading more from him in the future.
