Season 2 stars with all the characters we love. We get now finding the characters evolving, getting a bit more mature, but not everything is perfect, we now find them struggling with some things like lies and betrayals. This just keeps getting better and better.

OK, mixed feelings on this series so far. It’s written by my queen, Kandi, so the writing is on point. This is written in episodes, so it kind of feels like watching a TV show. The way she has seamlessly woven together the stories of SEVEN characters is unreal. Just another testament to her incredible writing.

I do like this book better than the first, as we are able to get more in depth with the characters and their plot lines.
While some of it feels cheesy, I don’t think it’s a Kandi thing. I think it’s a me thing. I’ve never been into “Greek life”. Combining that with these characters being college aged just makes it a little corny for me at times.

I’m definitely invested in the plot lines and can’t wait to jump into the next book!

A continuation of everyone’s lives means this book is similar in style and quality to the first book in the series. I would say this one compared to the first one was less steamy, but had the added fun of spring break in Key West. This book discusses much heavier topics than the first making it a less relaxing/carefree book to read.

Still not 100% sold but too deeply invested in the characters to stop now. I absolutely need to know where this is going

In the second book in the PSU series, we follow the same students through their spring semester. In this book we are still following Cassie, Bear, Jess, Skyler, Erin, Ashlei, and Adam, but this time we delve deeper into relationships, tackle tough issues, and take the students on spring break.

Anchor still follows the same formula of six episodes with shifting POV's and is still like watching your favorite TV drama, but this time time around Kandi throws her characters into some really tough situations.

I'm completely addicted to find out how some of them are going to get out of the hot water they have found themselves in or the relationship mess they are now in. This entire series is a new obsession I'm loving to read.

Rip my heart out, why don't you?!

Ok..the boys and girls of PSU are really going to be the death of me. I'm either going to die of heartache, angst, or too much alcohol by proxy.. Seriously, though..i feel like I should be getting drunk just reading of all these parties. And the storylines?! O..M...G.... I am going to be in serious withdrawals for the next month waiting for Season three. These characters grab you by the throat and won't let go. This is a must read for anyone who loves angst, multiple views and storylines coexisting in the same book, and kickass women who have each other's backs. Seriously..buy this book...now!!!!

Now I'm addicted

I would say Kandi Steiner upped her game and now I'm addicted but she always has game. Anchor is far more intense though. Flirty, sexy, and sweet...yes. Serious, problematic, and nerve-wracking...also a yes.

Kandi Steiner takes us on multiple paths to the same points. Friends on a journey. Not always on the same path but thankfully, they tend to wind up in the same destination. Just with lots of hot, tempting fun on the way.

I love the complexities of the multi POV and the way the form the whole story. I thought at first I would merely tolerate it but I am loving the way it comes together.

Love Palm South University!

things got a little more serious in this installment but i’m still impressed with the author’s ability to capture a fairly accurate (if slightly dramatized) look at college life
