Dirty cops, gangsters, and cuckholding pastors oh my.
This is the republished version of his first novel. If you are a fan of Razorblade Tears and Blacktop Wasteland, you know there is plenty of action, and a high body count. I enjoyed it. This would definitely be an interesting one to turn into a movie.

I cannot say enough things about this book. Particularly on Audible, the narrator just brings the whole thing to life in a spectacular way.
Yes, fair warning it does have some very explicit scenes. However, even if those are normally things you avoid, it's worth forwarding or skimming through for the rest of the story. This was a fantastic read and I was surprised it's Cosby's first full novel. What a great book out of the gate! He has a great way with a phrase and I am looking forward to his future works.
I truly hope Mr. Cosby turns Nathan Haymaker, Skunk, et al into an ongoing series. It would be FANTASTIC. (Please please do!!)
I've already jumped into his next book, hoping it's anywhere near as good. What a great way to end my reading year! Five stars all day long.
