Die Geheimnisse der „Kinderwunschindustrie“ blieben mir verborgen, die angedeuteten Probleme waren zu vage, als dass ich hätte mit den Figuren mitfühlen können.

Sofi Oksasen aiemmat romaanit lukeneena Koirapuistosta jäi ikävän kaavamainen olo. Hyppivät aikakerrokset, itäblokin estetiikka, trillerimäiset juonenkäänteet, vahvat naiset ja muut Oksasen vanhat konnan koukut toimivat erityisen hyvin Koirapuistossa, mutta vaihtelu voisi välillä virkistää uskollista lukijaa.

Um bom livro, especialmente pelo contexto histórico-social. Demorei um pouco a ler porque não me consegui ligar a nenhuma das personagens, mas reconheço que é um tema importante.
A capa é brilhante!

I read 168 pages of this one, but couldn't get to the end. It took a while to get to the person being spoken to in the narrative.

The story is divided into two timelines: one takes place in Helsinki and the other in Urkaine about ten years prior to the timeline in Helsinki.

It's an interesting premise, but I just wasn't interested enough to see what happens.
