I should be sleeping right now but I need to know what happens ASAP!! My heart can't take this. Kou and Kominatos friendship is growing so nicely, they're so cute but Kou needs to get this sh*t together. I feel so bad for Toma because he seems so sweet and nice it's a shame the anime stopped where it did.

when I say I’m slowly becoming obsessed with this series I mean exactly that!
Kou becomes distant. When the gang comes back from vacation Futaba realises that Kou is going through something.Â
She then leans that one of his friends from his old town had just lost a parent and he’s there trying to support them because he knows how it feels and doesn’t want to abandon them. But while he’s doing that he’s also becoming less involved with him current friends at school… and Futaba.Â
So Futaba tries to make sure that Kou knows his friends are there for him too.Â
It is also discovered that Kou may still has feeling for Futaba—when a friend finds an old notebook of his where he had written Futaba’s name in junior high—as he didn’t deny it when asked.Â
At the end of the volume, we find out that this friend—who Kou has been helping—is actually a girl when she turns up at an event. You can can that Futaba instantly becomes worried.

Ao Haru Ride, Vol. 05
by Io Sakisaka
3/5 stars
Kou broke his promise to come to the Summer Festival with Futaba. Things get complicated after that. Futaba knows that Kou become strange and always busy. It made her wonder what's Kou hiding from her.
At the other side, Touma realized that he took interest to Futaba. He likes her so far. Knowing Futaba has a special relationship with Kou, Touma tried his best to get closer to Futaba.
Well, it's very clear that Kou still has a feeling for Futaba. We still don't get the reason why Kou don't wanna make a new relationship with her. Is there anything to do with the girl on the phone--that lately calling Kou? I really curious about this.
