3.75?

Idk I was along for the ride with this one, there’s a lot I liked about it- just missing an emotional impact for me, I wanted to care about the characters just a little more. There were times I liked the narrative style of the omniscient team “we” and times it didn’t always work for me. Overall a fun time.

Nothing against it! Just not the right time to read it. Maybe later :)

Such a good read! Partly because of the nostalgia in reading about the high school experience of the late 1980s, partly because of the witchy-ness, but wholly because Quan Barry is an excellent storyteller.

I tried to start this book twice and just couldn’t finish it. The plotline and idea is great, but the writing style and storytelling format were not for me. I got about 40% through it the second time before I decided to call it quits and open a book with a format that works better for me.
